Some of the occupations in New Jersey that are predicted to grow by more than 20 percent during the 2008 to 2018 decade are in health care. However, some categories expected to see job growth, such as veterinarians and physician assistants, pay more than others, such as home health aides. In addition to the health care sector, employment opportunities are also expected to increase nearly 20 percent in other occupational fields, such as funeral attendants, tree trimmers and pruners, and preschool teachers.
